Anne Wilson - Artist Statement

I enjoy painting in a variety of media - acrylic, watercolour, oil, pastel, and pen and ink.

Influenced by the ever-changing sights, sounds and colours of Northumberland, I try to abstract them and put my own interpretation to the usual and unusual things that people are apt to take for granted.

Humour is a necessity in life and hopefully I can convey a little of this in my pen and ink drawings.
